FREE Tutoring for all SCC Students!

Math Success Center - D-209

The Math Success Center is a zero-cost service by SCC that provides students assistance and supplement learning done in the classroom. A math faculty member, an instructional assistant, or a student tutor is always on duty to assist students with questions or concerns from their math class. Additionally, computers are available for students to access mathematical software or do work for an online math class. Students also have access to limited instructional videos and computer tutorial programs.

Fall and Spring Hours:
9:30 AM – 7:30 PM – Monday – Thursday
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM – Saturdays

Spring Intersession Hours:
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM – Monday – Thursday
Online Hours 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM – Monday – Thursday 

Summer Hours:  (In-Person & Online)
1:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Monday & Wednesday 
10:30 AM - 3:30 PM Tuesday & Thursday

The STAR - Science Teaching and Resource Center - is SCC's exciting, innovative and new academic support center for the sciences. All activities are geared to engage science students and enhance their success.
 

Writing Center – H – 208

The Writing Center is designed to assist students in their study, practice, and communication of English. The Writing Center exists to promote student success, particularly in skills fundamental to effective communication in all disciplines, so we welcome all SCC students, not only those enrolled in English classes but also students taking any course in which writing assignments are required.

Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM & 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
