Hey there, future grads! 🎓 

We’re beyond excited to introduce you to SCC’s Early Welcome Program – your exclusive chance to kickstart college life and set yourself up for success. 🚀 

What’s Early Welcome all about? 
It’s a special opportunity just for high school seniors who applied early to Santiago Canyon College. Complete the Early Welcome steps, and you’ll unlock PRIORITY REGISTRATION and FREE TUITION with the SCC Promise Scholarship! 💸 

Here’s how you can join the Early Welcome crew: 

👉 STEP 1: 
Submit your Online Application for Summer/Fall 2026 and jump aboard Early Welcome to secure your priority registration – sccollege.edu/applynow. Already applied? Move on to Step 2! 

🌎 International Students: 
You’ve got your own path! Contact the SCC International Student Office at international@sccollege.edu or (714) 628-5050 to apply. 

👉 STEP 2: 
Watch the Hawks Prep Workshop video below and fill out the form at the end of the video. This mandatory step is your ticket to attend Early Welcome.

👉 STEP 3: 
Join us for an exciting field trip to SCC, where you'll register for your Fall 2026 college classes with the guidance of our counselors. Check the table below to find your high school's scheduled date. We can't wait to welcome you!

Pay for your classes and fees by June 1, 2026, through Self Service (SCC’s online portal) under Student Finance.

Early Welcome FAQs

No. Placement testing is not required if you plan to enroll in English, math and/or reading courses. High school performance and/or guided self-placement will be used to provide you with course recommendations. Visit the  Assessment Services site for more information.

Yes. If you took classes through dual enrollment, you will need to submit a new SCC application to update your status to a first-year college student.

Absolutely! SCC counselors are here to help you explore majors and career options that fit your interests and goals. You can join a workshop or schedule a one-on-one appointment. It's never too early to start planning your future!

 ​The SCC Promise Scholarship​ gives free tuition for two years to first-time, full-time SCC students. There's no family income requirement and no minimum high school GPA to qualify. It's a great way to start college and save money!
