May is Jewish American Heritage Month

The Jewish people have been around for some four thousand years.  Many discoveries and inventions were made by Jews.  Yet, Jews compromise only 0.2% of the world population.  Jews have been persecuted and evicted from their home time and time again – yet, they endure.  However, how much do people really know about Jews?  Jews represent a very diverse population: from the Eastern European Jews (Ashkenazi) to Ethiopian Jews (Beta Israel).  There are Jews who came from Spain (Sephardic), India, as well as the Middle East (Mizrahi).  The majority of Jews who live in Israel are NOT Ashkenazi.  Come learn about the diverse population and culture of the Jews.
