The home health aide (HHA) program prepares individuals who are Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) to become Certified Home Health Aides. This program provides an overview of the requirements to become Home Health Aides and meets Federal and State training regulations. Instruction builds and expands on the CNA training with increased focus and experience in the areas of patient needs, personal care services, nutrition, cleaning and care in the home. Successful students will be eligible to complete their California Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification.
