Mental Health PhotoThe Mental Health Technician Certificate Program, prepares students to gain the foundational knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies required for entry level employment in a variety of mental health and behavioral health settings. The program emphasizes workplace readiness skills such as professionalism, teamwork, critical thinking, and effective communication. Upon completion, students will demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations, accurately observe and document client behavior, and apply trauma informed and culturally responsive practices in their work.
