The California State University (CSU)​ is the largest and the most diverse university system in the country. It is also one of the most affordable.​ The CSU system is comprised of 23 campuses located throughout the st​ate of California. 

The CSU offers more than 1,800 bachelor's (BA and BS)​ and master's (MA and MS) degree programs in some 240 subject areas. Many of these programs are offered so that students can complete all upper-division and graduate requirements by part-time, late afternoon, and evening study. A variety of teaching and school service credential programs are available throughout the CSU system. A limited number of doctoral degrees are offered jointly with the University of California and with private institutions in California.

  • The AICCU is comprised of 78 private nonprofit colleges and universities.  Institutions include USC, Stanford, Chapman university, and many others.  This website provides a college guide and other resources to help you learn more about the institutions.

​Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE)

www.wiche.edu/wue
  •  WUE is coordinated by WICHE and is a regional tuition-reciprocity agreement that enables students from WICHE states, which includes California, to enroll in participating four-year public institutions at 150 percent of the enrolling institution's resident tuition.  This can provide a savings for students considering an out-of-state option.  Please visit the link for a list of participating institutions​​, the participating majors, and requirements for obtaining the reduced tuition rate.
​Articulation

SCC Articulation Office​
  • This page lists articulation agreements with some local private universities.  It is strongly recommended to see a counselor in the Counseling Department for assistance with selecting coursework for transfer.
