What is Career Counseling?

Career Counseling helps you connect your education to your future professional goals. Are you unsure of your future? Have you changed your major a
few times?
Have you taken classes but don’t feel like they’re taking you anywhere? Have you thought about dropping out of college? If you answered
“yes” to any of these questions, it’s a good idea to speak to a career counselor.

How do you benefit from Career Counseling?

Career Counseling plays a vital role in helping you discover the right college major and plan for your future. In working with a career counselor, you will
learn more about yourself (your interests, personality, skills, and strengths) and how you can connect that to a profession that meets your needs (job
outlook, potential income, and work environment). In short, career counseling helps you align academic choices with long-term aspirations, keeping you
motivated as you progress in your education.

If you are undecided in your major and/or career direction, reach out and book an appointment: Call (714) 628-4800 to schedule a Career Counseling
appointment. Counselors are available both on-campus or via Zoom.

We look forward to speaking with you!
